Knowledge Tests measure and identify an acquired skill set.

An ability is an acquired skill that enables the participant to execute certain tasks. Knowledge map the level to which specific skills are present. They are a great tool to identify the skill set of an individual and identify the suitability for specific tasks. For roles with practical operational requirements they are a valuable asset.

Thalento® offers a series of tests for Knowledge, in cooperation with our expert partners, that identify the acquired expertise of participants.

Our Knowledge Tests measure the following abilities:

 

Technical Tests

 

We offer a selection of Technical Tests that contain a number of multiple choice questionnaires that inventorise the technical knowledge of technical people. The results are presented in a transparent and detailed report, which offers the following data:

  • # right /wrong

  • score in %

  • indication of time used

Our Technical Knowledge tests is available in Dutch & French and consists of the following tests:

  • Industrial mechanics : 20 items

  • Car mechanics – experienced : 17 items

  • Car mechanics – helper : 18 items

  • Carpenter : 15 items

  • Electrician – General : 19 items

  • Electrician - residential constructions : 16 items

  • Electrician - industrial constructions : 16 items

  • Refrigeration technician : 20 items

  • Measurement and Control technician : 20 items

 
 

Language Tests

 

Thalento®, in close cooperation with ElaN Languages, offers 5 written online language tests. It is a user-friendly and validated test to map language skills. The results are generated in clear reports. This written test is available in 2 versions.

 
 
 
 

Scientific

  • 80 questions based on video, sound and text fragments

  • Suited for all levels

  • Available in Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish

  • Reports based on the CEFR/CEF scale.

  • The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is a standardised method to determine language skills of people and uses 6 levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

 
 
 

Microsoft Office Tests

 

Thalento® in close cooperation with ISV.Online offers a suite of Office Skills tests. These inventorise the proficiency on the most commonly used MS Office tools.
